TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, packages, programs, and products purchased or used both before and after the date of this update, to the extent permitted by law. By continuing to use our services or programs, you agree that these updated terms govern your relationship with Bliss Integrative Medicine.

By using the services, programs, or products of Bliss Integrative Medicine (“we,” “our,” “us”), including purchasing packages, individual services, or wellness products, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Payment Terms

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine does not accept insurance. Clients are responsible for full payment for all services, packages, programs, or products.
     

  • We encourage clients to purchase packages or programs, which provide the best value for services.
     

  • Full payment is due at the time of purchase or prior to receiving services, unless otherwise agreed.
     

  • Clients may pay:
     

    • In full upfront for packages or programs (pay-in-full discounts may be available at the discretion of Bliss Integrative Medicine)
       

    • At the time of each individual service
       

    • Through other payment arrangements pre-approved by Bliss Integrative Medicine
       

  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, electronic payments, cash, HSA/FSA cards, and other methods specified at checkout.
     

  • Clients are responsible for any fees incurred due to declined, returned, or non-sufficient funds (NSF) payments, chargebacks, or fraudulent activity.
     

  • Declined or late payments may result in cancellation of scheduled services or programs.
     

  • For pre-paid packages, any unused sessions expire 1 year after the last session used, unless otherwise noted.
     

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine reserves the right to take legal or collection action in the event of payment fraud or non-payment.
     

2. No Guarantee / Results Disclaimer

  • While we provide high-quality wellness services, including acupuncture, functional medicine consultations, other therapies, and wellness products, results cannot be guaranteed.
     

  • All services and products are intended to support general wellness and are not a substitute for medical care or professional medical advice.
     

3. Appointment and Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance with Bliss Integrative Medicine. We do not accept walk-in appointments.
     

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 business hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Notices given outside of business hours do not count toward the 24-hour requirement.
     

  • No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the scheduled service or package session.
     

Late Arrival: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened or treated as a no-show, at the discretion of the provider.

4. Use of Personal Information / Communication

  • By booking services, purchasing products, or participating in programs, you consent to receive communications from us regarding appointments, packages, programs, products, or wellness updates via email, text, or phone.
     

  • Communications may include information about services or products you requested or general wellness guidance.
     

  • We only send marketing communications to users who have opted in. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

5. Liability / Risk Acknowledgment

  • Participation in our services or use of our products is voluntary, and you assume all associated risks.
     

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine is not liable for any injuries, adverse reactions, or other outcomes resulting from participation in services, programs, or use of products.
     

  • Services and products, including online programs and wellness communications, are for educational and wellness purposes only.
     

6. Services and Packages

  • Packages and programs may include a combination of services (e.g., acupuncture, functional medicine consultations, wellness services) and products.
     

  • All packages and programs are non-refundable and non-transferable.
     

  • Packages expire 1 year after the last session used, after which any unused services are forfeited.
     

7. Conduct and Compliance

  • Clients must comply with company policies while on-site, in virtual sessions, or participating in programs.
     

  • Clients must treat staff, providers, and other clients with respect.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services to anyone who violates policies or fails to comply with these terms.
     

8. Intellectual Property / Online Programs

  • We may provide access to online wellness programs that deliver daily texts, emails, and materials such as handouts, worksheets, or other content, and allow for messaging with providers.
     

  • All content, materials, and communications provided through these programs, whether digital or physical, are the exclusive property of Bliss Integrative Medicine.
     

  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, share, or provide access to any program materials, handouts, or communications to anyone who has not paid for the program, in whole or in part, without explicit written permission.
     

  • Unauthorized sharing or distribution of program content may result in termination of access, legal action, and forfeiture of any remaining program benefits.
     

9. Telehealth / Virtual Session Terms

  • Virtual or telehealth sessions are subject to the same Terms & Conditions as in-person services.
     

  • You are responsible for providing a safe and private environment for virtual sessions.
     

  • Technology limitations, including internet connectivity or software issues, may affect session quality.
     

  • Virtual sessions are for educational and wellness purposes and are not a substitute for medical care.
     

10. Health & Safety / Informed Consent

  • Clients are responsible for disclosing relevant health conditions, medications, or other factors that may affect treatment.
     

  • Failure to disclose pertinent information may limit effectiveness or pose health risks.
     

  • By participating, clients acknowledge understanding of the risks involved with wellness services, therapies, or products.
     

11. Photography / Media Release

  • By participating in services, programs, or using products, clients consent to the use of photographs, videos, testimonials, or verbal statements for educational, marketing, or promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
     

  • This includes summaries of verbal testimonials, case-study-style materials, or any content where a client’s name, likeness, or general case information may be presented, regardless of platform or medium.
     

  • Clients may request in writing that their likeness, name, or testimonial not be used, and Bliss Integrative Medicine will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests.
     

12. Third-Party / Referral Disclaimers

  • Any products, supplements, labs, or services recommended by Bliss Integrative Medicine are not guaranteed.
     

  • We are not liable for the quality, performance, or results of third-party products or services.
     

13. Emergency / Urgent Care Instructions

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine is not equipped to handle medical emergencies.
     

  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening condition, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.
     

14. Modifications

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
     

  • The latest version will be posted on our website. Continued use of services, programs, or products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
     

15. Internal Credits

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine may issue internal credits to clients. These are account-specific credits that can be applied toward future services, packages, programs, or products offered by the clinic.
     

  • Internal credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
     

  • Internal credits must be used within 1 year from the date of issuance. Any unused credits after this period will be forfeited.
     

  • Terms of use for internal credits are determined by Bliss Integrative Medicine and may be updated at the clinic’s discretion.
     

16. Gift Cards

  • Bliss Integrative Medicine may issue gift cards for purchase.
     

  • Gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
     

  • Gift cards must be used within 1 year from the date of issuance. Any unused balance after this period will be forfeited.
     

  • Gift cards may be applied toward services, packages, programs, or products offered by Bliss Integrative Medicine.
     

  • Terms of use for gift cards are determined by Bliss Integrative Medicine and may be updated at the clinic’s discretion.
     

17.  Non-Disparagement 

Clients agree not to make any false, misleading, or defamatory statements—whether written, spoken, posted online, or shared through social media—about Bliss Integrative Medicine, its providers, staff, services, or business practices. This includes statements that present inaccurate information as fact, misrepresent interactions, or are intended to harm our reputation.

 

Clients agree to raise any complaints, concerns, or disputes directly with Bliss Integrative Medicine and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution before making any public statements.

 

Both parties agree to refrain from making false or misleading statements about the other that could harm reputation. Nothing in this clause prevents clients from expressing honest opinions based on their personal experience or exercising rights protected under applicable law.

If a client publishes false or defamatory statements, Bliss Integrative Medicine reserves the right to pursue appropriate remedies, including requesting removal of the content, issuing formal notices, and seeking damages where permitted by law.

 

18.  Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
